Where medicine meets law. The Department teaches in the International Medical Degree Program (IMDP) and in the integrated study programme “Medicine”, in its own autopsy room and lecture theatre.

Year VI · Semester XIForensic Medicine
Eight modules — thanatology, autopsy, mechanical and non-mechanical injuries, toxicology, anthropology, medico-legal expertise and deontology — with practicals in the autopsy room and on museum specimens.

Lectures
and practicals
Practicals run in parallel at two sites. The autopsy room has limited capacity, so the group schedule is strictly observed.
Exams

Introduction and thanatology, autopsy, mechanical injuries, asphyxial and physical injuries.
Second partial exam
Continuation of the material from the first part of the semester.
Final exam
Accident, homicide and suicide, toxicology, forensic anthropology, medico-legal expertise and deontology.
